Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson serves as the Minister of Worship & Director of Technical Ministries at Grand Avenue. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Chris attended Iowa State University and graduated with degrees in Music Education and Computer Science. Along with his full-time responsibilities at Grand Avenue, he teaches vocal music part-time in the Roland-Story school district (north of Ames).

Chris and his college sweetheart, Sonia, were married in 2002. They met while in choir at ISU, and have been singing together ever since. After being first-time parents for over a year now, Chris and Sonia have a renewed appreciation for their own parents now! Chris welcomes your encouragements at: ctj@grand-avenue.org.

   
Quentin Dietrich

Quentin Dietrich serves as the Interim Youth Ministry leader at Grand. Quentin attended Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary and graduated with B.A. in Biblical Studies / Greek / Preaching and a M.A. in Biblical Studies.

While at Faith, Quentin was actively involved with student leadership and traveling summer ministry teams. Some of his hobbies include reading, guitar and frisbee. Quentin can be reached at: quentin@grand-avenue.org.

   
Dixie Carpenter

Dixie Carpenter serves as GABC's Church Secretary. She will be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding events, schedules, or the church in general.

Office hours are Monday–Friday 8:30 am – 12:00 noon.
